I am hoping that everyone had a great break. Sadly, mine was less than extravagant with a cold starting the day after break started, basically demolishing all the plans that I had and all the hope that I had for a good break. The highlights of my break consisted mostly of cough syrup, ps4, and literal pillow talking. I had plans to actually go hang out with friends that I don’t see often, get some work done on my cars, and overall just get things done..but I guess my immune system caught up to me and told me it was time to slow down a bit. Since I got sick the second day of break, I basically suspended all of my other “side goals” and focused on the main goal of getting better, sadly, my efforts were not to much avail. Coming back to school sick has to be one of the worst feelings that I have had in the last few months, it makes me feel unproductive, useless, and all around just a waste of air.
I guess that is enough of dwelling on what I didn’t get done, how about what I did get to. So as many of you may know, I have been planning on moving out during spring break, and that’s what I did. I moved all of my stuff over to Caylors house and am living there now instead of all the way by Winco. This was one productive thing that I did, another one is that I have started talking to some friends about plans for housing during the summer. I have decided that it sucks living in apartment complexes, so me and 3 or 4 friends are planning on moving into a 4-5 bdrm house near campus when summer comes. Doing this has the possibility for some crazy turnouts, but I feel as if I can trust my future roommates, and feel like they are mature enough for me to stand living with them. I just hope that they don’t turn it into an everyday party-house since I will be working 5 days a week during the summer.
I don’t really think that there were any other highlights to my break, but I am curious to hear what everyone did for their break? Seeing that I don’t really hang out with many of you, it is nice to hear what people do with their time away from school.

Sounds like a shit break man. Dont worry though, summer almost here man. My spring break just consisted of me talking to Insurance companies and getting that done. Mine wasn’t extravagant either man, but it’s whatever. We got a whole week off school so I can’t really complain that much. You living with Caylor now is awesome man, y’all been planning that for awhile?

Yeah at least we had a mental break from school before finals. Nd yeah I talked to his parents a while back to see if I can stay with them until summer when I can afford to move in with some room mates.

I’m sorry you didn’t get to enjoy your spring break, I sorta know how you feel because I got sick during Christmas break. Though I’m glad you are moving into a house with people, it shows you’re making progress, and I hope that it works out for you in the long run.

Yeah, it’s okay though at least we had a break even though it wasn’t productive. I definitely feel like I am moving up on the ladder and improving my life quite a bit.

You already heard how my break went. Wanting to be productive but something standing in the way is just one of the most irritating things ever! I hope you get to feeling better soon. Living with friends should be a great experience. Definitely move in with people you can trust so they don’t steal your stuff.(:

Sorry your break wasn’t all that great, mine was pretty good tho, last Monday I went up to Spokane and swore into the Air Force at MEPS, ill be working on airplanes for the next 4 years until I get my eyesight re evaluated. The process there was unpleasant and really lengthy but i managed to process without any problems besides my vision which needs to be consulted by an optometrist. I didn’t really do much after that, just stayed in town and hung out with some friends. Hope the rest of the year goes well for you.

That’s awesome man! If I were going into any government agency I would definitely choose a mechanical field in the organization. Does that entail you getting glasses/contacts to work with them or would they just give you limitations on what you could do? Sounds like you had a pretty productive break, I’m just surprised that you didn’t take your truck up to the mountain or anything.

Yeah that basically sums up my break as well, lots of netflix and little spurts of going outside for fresh air. And yeah you as well, haha don’t wreck that Excursion with the good weather coming :p
